How Do You Retrieve Deleted Emails In Gmail?

Gmail is Google’s web-based email service, where you can log in and check your email from any browser. At times, you may want to retrieve an email you deleted from your Inbox. When you click “Delete” on a message in your Inbox, Gmail keeps the message in the Trash folder, and you can retrieve it anytime within 30 days. However, when you are in the Spam or Trash folder and click “Delete Forever,” you permanently delete the message and it cannot be retrieved. Open a browser and go to your Gmail account. Click on the Trash folder at the left side of the page. This may be called “Deleted Messages.” You can also find “Trash” under the “More” tab on the left side under “Contacts.” Put a checkmark in the box next to the name of the person who sent the email you want to retrieve. Click the “Move to” button. Scroll down and select “Inbox” to move the deleted message back to your inbox.
