Flash drives or memory sticks are a great tool when saving and transferring documents. You can use a flash memory stick to save a large file easily, and can take it with you between work and home or any other computer you use. Obtain a flash memory stick. Keep in mind that a file with pictures, images or audio and video information requires more space. Turn on the computer that contains the file you’ll be saving onto the flash drive. Open the “My Computer” folder and search through your folders until you find the document to be saved to the flash drive. Plug the flash drive into the computer.
