If you are scratching your head trying to find a folder or files, chances are they are hidden. Showing hidden files or folders is useful if you want to delete all the contents of a folder or disk or simply gain access on that folder. Hidden files cannot be deleted unless you made it visible first. Open a windows explorer by double clicking on “My Computer” if you are using XP. If you are using Vista, just go to “Start” then click “Computer”. Alternatively, you can also press “Windows logo” + E on your keyboard to open windows explorer using any Windows operating system.
