How Do You Test Continuity With An Actron Multitester?

0

While your Actron Multitester won’t be able to give you a measurement of the conductivity of a circuit, the device is capable of measuring the amount of resistance in the circuitry. And knowing how much or how little resistance is present in a circuit can give you an idea about its continuity–with little resistance, there is good continuity, and with high resistance slowing down the flow of electricity, there is poor continuity. Find out how to measure the resistance and test for continuity in a circuit with your Actron Multitester. Plug the right-angle end of the black lead into the “Com” port on your Actron Multitester and plug the red lead into the “VΩmA” port. Disconnect the power source to the device you’ll be testing for continuity, if applicable. Switch the dial in the center of your Actron Multitester to the “200” position in the green “Ω” section of the dial. Touch the multitester’s red lead to the positive terminal on the device you’re testing for continuity, and touch the b
