How do you think the Boston Bruins will finish in the 2008-2009 NHL standings?

I’m a lifelong B’s fan too, and expect more out of them this year. However, I don’t think this is “the year” for them. I expect them to finish as high as 6th in the Eastern Conference barring any major injuries. I think the season will be successful if they get out of the first round of the playoffs. I question their goaltending, Tim Thomas is obviously tearing it up right now, but he has been streaky in the past, and I’m just not a big Manny Fernandez fan. Hopefully Bergeron and Ryder get on a scoring streak. Overall should be an exciting team this year.
