How Do You Treat Worms In Puppys/Dogs ??
Puppies are wormed from 2 weeks.4 weeks. 6 weeks,8weeks amd 12 weeks then you worm the pup every 3 months and an adult needs regular worming every 3 months also.There are a variety of worms dogs and puppies can get l presume these are either round or thread or hook worms.To be blunt yes you can get worms from dogs as pups lick their rear end and then they lick you and bingo worms and it is not pleasant in humans but treatable.You need to get an all worm er from the vet whether tablets of a syrup depending on the age of the pup.Do not buy all wormers in shops as they invariably do not work.The vet will give you tablets and let you know when the pup needs them again.In the meantime whenever you are playing with the pup or even picking up droppings wash your hand thoroughly and whilst this pup has worms do NOT let him lick you at all.
