NetZero is an Internet service provider, or ISP, that provides users with free dial-up access to the Internet. NetZero users install proprietary NetZero software on their computers to enable the service. If you decide to stop using NetZero, you can uninstall NetZero from your Windows XP computer using the “Add/Remove Programs” function in combination with additional steps. Step 1 Click “Start > Settings > Control Panel.” This opens the Control Panel. Step 2 Double-click on the “Add/Remove Programs” icon in the Control Panel. This opens the Add/Remove Programs window. Step 3 Click to select the “NetZero” icon in the list of currently installed programs. Click the “Add/Remove” button. This opens a confirmation prompt window. Step 4 Click “OK” in the confirmation prompt window to close the window, and then click the “OK” button in the Add/Remove Programs window to close it. Click the “Close” button to close the Control Panel. Step 5 Click “Start > Programs > Settings > Windows Explorer.”
