How Do You Unstop A Wagner Paint Sprayer?
A piece of debris or dried paint can be the culprit behind a clog in your Wagner paint sprayer and prevent it from working. When filling your paint sprayer with paint, be very careful to not let any debris fall into the paint container. If your paint sprayer does clog, you can unstop it fairly easy. Unplug the Wagner paint sprayer. Unscrew the paint sprayer container and empty all the paint. Put the rubber gloves and safety goggles on. Submerge the paint container into a bucket of paint thinner. Rub the inside of the container. Wipe the submerged container until most of the paint is removed. Submerge the paint sprayer tip into the paint thinner. Slosh it back and forth in the paint thinner and rub the sprayer tip with your gloved hands. Rinse the paint can and sprayer tip thoroughly with water.
