Several varieties of refillable butane lighters with flexible necks are available on the market, and all work in essentially the same manner, despite the differences in their appearances. Nearly all models have an adjustable flame–the user can control the length of the flame via a rolling wheel dial on the handle. In addition, all brands have an on/off switch or a trigger, as well as a child safety lock, usually controlled with the thumb. Anyone who has a fireplace, enjoys camping or owns a barbecue should have one of these. Open the casing of the handle.
