How do you use a childrens weaving loom?

Once you have the loops, it is a good idea to decide which colors to use. Once you have decided on your pattern, the way it works is you stretch the loops on the pegs in ONE direction. Next, take another loop and weave over and under with the hook, hook the loop on, and stretch it across the pegs in the opposite direction. For the next loop you want to go under first, then over, etc. The hook really helps! when the loom is full, use the hook to pull loops thorugh each other until there is only one loop remaining. Knot it off and you have a potholder! You can sew many of these together until you have a rug. I hope this helps!
