Search for “free internet police scanner” online, or go to the Scan America website (see Resources). Choose a broadcast by location. If you’re using the Scan America website, select the state and county where the broadcast is located. Choose the type of broadcast. Options include police, fire and emergency medical service vehicle broadcasts. If you can’t hear the broadcast, update your Windows media player.
