Use a china marker and trace the shape you want onto the tile. This allows you to get a more accurate cut rather than eye-balling it. Score the outline using a utility knife. You can also use a glass cutter for this. It’s advisable to wear gloves when doing this to avoid slicing your finger. Cut gridlines with the utility knife below the outline. This helps you to take off smaller pieces with the tile nipper making for a smoother cut. Bite off pieces with the tile nipper.
