How Do You Use Handbrake On A MAC?
Handbrake is an application used to convert DVD content to the MPEG-4 format. This allows you to play your favorite movies on devices other than DVD players. First select the source of the material to convert. This will either be a DVD in an optical drive or DVD content stored on your hard drive. The dropdown boxes labeled “Title” and “Chapters” allow you to select what portion of the content you would like to convert. Select where you would like the converted file to be saved and what you would like the file named in the “Destination” dialog box. Be sure not to overwrite the original source file. Handbrake has a selection of presets, these are helpful because they select all of the appropriate output settings for different devices. Click “Toggle Presets” to make the presets pane visible if it is not currently visible.
