How Do You Use Kilz Paint For A Bird Feeder?

0

If you’re looking to attract birds to your yard, hanging a bird feeder is a great way to do just that. However, a bird feeder doesn’t have to be just about attracting birds. It can also give you a chance to add your own personal touch to the landscape around your house. One simple way of doing that is to buy some Kilz paint to give your bird feeder a whole new color. Lay newspaper, a few feet in each direction, on the basement or garage floor to protect your floor from paint. Open the bucket of Kilz paint. Stir the paint with the wooden stir stick. Place the bird feeder on top of the newspaper. Protect the edge of any surface you are not painting, such as the roof of the bird feeder, with a strip of masking tape. Paint the bird feeder with a small paint brush. Do not put so much paint on the brush that you end up with paint drips down the side of the bird feeder. Let the paint dry for four hours. With the small brush, add another coat of Kilz paint to the bird feeder. Let the paint dry
