How Do You Use Salami For Pinwheels?
When you plan to throw a party, food is a major consideration. Serve your guests a variety of appetizers if you don’t want to plan a sit-down meal. One easy crowd-pleasing appetizer is the pinwheel. You can make this appetizer in several different ways with several different ingredients, and one way is with salami, a spicy and delicious meat. Take one tortilla shell and spread a layer of cream cheese over one whole side of the shell. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over the top of the cream cheese. Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the whole side of the tortilla shell, and gently pat it into the cream cheese and mustard. Cover the top of the shell with slices of salami, slightly overlapping them where needed. Start at one side of the tortilla shell and tightly roll the whole thing like you would roll a newspaper to swat a fly. Place a toothpick through the wrapped tortilla shell every inch along its length making sure it goes all the way through the roll and comes out the other side.
