How Do You Wash Cloth Diapers Using A High Efficiency Washing Machine?

Using a high efficiency washing machine to wash your diapers is a snap. They come out perfect every time. There is no pre-soaking or wet pail mess required. Empty dry pail contents and into your front load washer. I strongly recommend a dry pail because there is no easy and sanitary way to dump the wet pail contents in the front of the washer. To make it even easier you should use diaper liners to catch the solid bulk and a sprayer to rinse the rest of the mess away. It is much easier than soaking your diapers in a wet pail and I have never had a stain, nor does it smell. Wash no more than 20 diapers at a time. That means complete diapers; so 20 liners and 20 covers plus any soakers and wet bags you use for this round of washing. Set the setting to hottest or whitest whites setting. If they are options, select extra rinse and heaviest load. No need to do a presoak because high efficiency washers do such a thorough job. Use natural, biodegradable soap at the manufacturers recommendation
