As with any tool, you must know how to operate the compressor properly to avoid injury. Make sure the on/off switch is set to the “off” position. Close the drain valve at the bottom of the air compressor and check the oil level in the pump. Inspect the air hose, air compressor, and air-compressor tools for damage.
