How does a Rubiks Cube work?
Heh, I was curious too, so I popped open my rubik’s cube open, and I figured it goes something like this. The center pieces are fixed onto the axis (which is why they always stay relatively in the same position.) The centers are built so that they would form a sphere shape. The edges continue the shape, and the corners are built around the edges. lol I’m sorry I’m horrible at explaining. Basically, think of a ring, then have a smaller ring. The smaller ring is free to be rotated anyway inside the larger ring. Same concept… sorta…
