How does a tornado end/stop?

0

A tornado will begin to go into its final stages when the inflow starts to get cut off. This basically “chokes” the tornado. Think of it as someone cutting air supply off to someone.

The same energy that developed the storm is not there anymore. If part of the structure of that storm changes then a tornado cannot exist. One way could be warm air above the storm or the winds die out at the upper levels. A lot of conditions must be met for a supercell like this to exist and by losing any of one of them can cause it end.
