How does Adaptive Modeler process splits and dividends?

0

Adaptive Modeler does not automatically adjust for splits and dividends. As stock splits have a distorting effect on model evolution and on return calculations, the quote history file should be adjusted for splits before creating a model. When a new split occurs, a new model should be created after re-adjusting the historical quotes. Whether or not historical quotes should be adjusted for dividends and by which method is up to the user. Note that return calculations in Adaptive Modeler do not include dividend payments. Note that it may be necessary to adjust the rounding settings in Adaptive Modeler when historical prices have become very low after adjusting for splits and/or dividends.
