If you have a VRS Professional license, Check for Updates will launch at the end of an installation to see if there are service packs, update or patches available and present them for installation. Check for Updates will run periodically on its own, or it can be either rescheduled or suppressed by a user. If you have a VRS Basic license, Check for Updates will launch at the end of an installation and provide information regarding upgrading their VRS license from Basic to Professional. VRS Basic users must check the Patches section of the VRS 4.1 Downloads Web page to see if any updates are available and, if so, download and install them.
