Sentara invests in the development of our RNs in a number of ways: Tuition Assistance Program – after only six months of employment with Sentara, you will be eligible for up to $1,300 tuition assistance/year. The longer you work for Sentara, the more tuition assistance/year you can receive. Internships – Sentara offers Critical Care, Cardiac/Vascular, Operating Room, PACU and Emergency Nursing Internships on a frequent basis. These programs are designed to meet the needs of recent graduates of RN programs as well as those of experienced RNs who are transitioning from other specialty areas.
