How does my.stlcc.edu student e-mail handle spam?
Microsoft provides and manages advanced spam and virus filtering using proprietary technologies, including SmartScreen technology that learns to detect spam through user input, and SenderID Framework which matches the sender’s IP address against theirs from e-mail, which is designed to defeat “spoofing.” If using the Web interface, all e-mail undergoes a virus check/scan.
