When an artist chooses to upload a song to New Melodies, he or she permanently keeps the rights over it, and nobody is allowed to copy, modify, plagiarize, distribute, nor commerce with it in any way. When someone publishes a song in New Melodies, he or she is declaring that they are the rightful owners of its proprietary rights, with the only exception being that they have been granted permission by the legitimate owner to publish the song on his or her behalf. Even though only the person who uploads a particular song is responsible for it, New Melodies will never accept nor tolerate infractions on proprietary rights.
