How does purchasing a remanufactured cartridge help the environment?
Annually there are more than 300 Million plastic printer cartridges thrown away in the United States and around the world. According to industry sources, this translates to almost 8 cartridges thrown away in landfills every second. While the flow into our nations landfills can never be stopped, remanufacturers can at least reduce the amount of cartridges into the landfills. Remanufacturing does make a difference. Every cartridge that is remanufactured and sold to consumers is one less cartridge that needs to be produced by the OEMs, thus saving it from the stream of waste and from draining the Earths natural resources.
