How Does Rain Affect Salinity In Salt Water?
Since rain is usually pure water, (it at least isn’t going to have salt in it) it will very slightly decrease the concentration of salt in the water. If you have more solvent, but constant solute, the concentration will decrease. However, since salt water bodies are usually very large (Oceans for example), the extra water will be insignificant. Not only that, but water will most likely be evaporating at some point in the body.
