How does Rextrusion differ from reconstitution systems?
• Rextrusion is possible on a continuous production-line. Reconstitution systems are usually based on batch processes and are therefore not fully automated. Many reconstitution processes are highly sensitive, particularly to delays following the activation of binder ingredients. Rextrusion requires only the level of care which can be expected from any good manufacturing practice.
