How does software engineering apply to web development?
Tasen Software utilizes the software engineering process at all levels of product development. Initially we speak and/or meet with our clients on several occasions so that we are able to gather a full range of specifications and requirements for the desired solution. Once our initial proposal is accepted, we present several design solutions to our clients for feedback. The solution itself is designed in a modular fashion, with comments and notes included where appropriate. After the solution is fully tested and debugged, we deploy the project and take it through another set of test cases. If necessary we start back at the requirement stage, and make changes until the client is happy. Maintenance can be performed either by Tasen Software, or by another party using the documentation Tasen Software provides for solution maintenance.
