STRUDS® automatically generates wind load on the building structure as per IS:875 from the parameters specified by the user. User has to provide the values for following parameters: K1 Probability Factor K2 Terrain, Height & Structure Size factor K3 Topography factor Vb Basic Wind Speed in m/s Cpi Internal Pressure coefficient H Total Height of the structure I Greater Horizontal Dimension of the structure W Lesser Horizontal Direction Cpe – External Pressure coefficient The values of H, I and W are taken by STRUDS® automatically from the structure geometry created by user. The values of other parameters like Vb, Cpi and Cpe are to be specified by user. To provide the values for K2, values from tables in IS:875 are made available by STRUDS® which the user can select as per his requirement.
