How does the Accelerated Reader Program work?
To be eligible for an "A" on any grading period a student must have accumulated 30 Accelerated Reader points with a minimum of a 4.5 grade level average and a minimum of 70% comprehension. The cut-off point to accumulate points for any grading period is two weeks prior to the issuance of the report card. Any student that does not satisfy these requirements may only achieve a grade of B+.
