How does the analog triggering work?

Analog triggering is available in all A series products. It is used to start recordings from a specified input channel or any input channel. A threshold level (percentage of full scale) and record duration after trigger are both user selectable. This is how it works: an incoming signal is introduced and crosses the threshold value which starts a recording and continues recording up to the user specified time. If this signal is still above the threshold setting at the end of the specified record time the unit continues recording. If the incoming signal drops below the threshold level then the recording stops after the specified time. When the triggering mode has been enabled the user must press the REC (record) key to ready the system.
