How does the classification system work?
The classification system groups shooters by their recent averages as a form of handicap. Most matches have awards for each class in addition to prizes for outright wins. A shooter establishes a classification by firing at least 360 shots in indoor or outdoor competition. After the scores are submitted to the NRA, the shooter receives a classification card.
