How does the High Value PO process work in Marketplace?
There is no High Value PO process in Marketplace, because there is no distinction between the High Value or Low Value purchase processes. In Marketplace, you don’t use a High Value Purchase Order (HVPO) or a Department Order (LVPO), as you do in FinancialLink. • As a shopper, the process for submitting a cart is the same regardless of the dollar amount of your order. Once submitted, Marketplace workflow directs the cart through the appropriate approval process, set up by your department. • In Marketplace, professional buyers don’t review and approve all requisitions exceeding $2,500, as they do today with the High Value process. Marketplace has streamlined the involvement of professional buyers to allow for faster PO processing.
