How does the Individualized Degree Plan work?
The Individualized Degree Plan allows the greatest flexibility of course selection and rate of completion of any of our programs. Half of the required credits must be earned through education courses; the remainder of the courses can be taken in any school at Regent University with their permission. On campus or online courses are available. Elective courses can be combined in a multidisciplinary grouping or to fulfill Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) teacher and/or administrator certification requirements, TESOL certification, alternative state licensure requirements or special education training. The average completion time is 18 months. The program requires that you complete 32 credit of course work, including a professional project.
