How does the Medical Withdrawal benefit in the TuitionGuardian plan work?

0

The Medical Withdrawal benefit pays the member up to 100% of the un-reimbursed tuition, room and board, and other eligible fees paid to the academic school for the term of classes, less any refund for credit from the school up to the benefit level chosen if a student withdraws from a term of classes in which tuition has been paid due to a covered injury or illness including loss of life as a result thereof. The maximum benefit limit per semester for Medical Withdrawal due to Non-hospitalized Mental Health is capped at 60% of the Medical Withdrawal limit selected for the student. The amount of refund is based on the penalty schedule of the college on the date of loss.
