How does the online appointment scheduling system work?
Your schedule is visible in your web page by you and staff members with schedule access. It is also visible to your patients, but patients can only see whether appointment times are available or not. They can see their own name on the schedule, but not those of your other patients. A list of each patient’s past and currently scheduled appointments is can be generated and searched. If you or your staff are in immediate contact with the patient at the time an appointment may be entered and confirmed directly. Otherwise one or more suggested appointment times are sent to the patient via e-mail with a confirmation request. Similarly, patients can submit one or more available times and you or your staff respond to the confirmation request. Confirmation requests allow the responder to accept, decline or request a different appointment time.
