How does the Optional Factor on the review form work?
There are some competencies that are critical for success that are not referenced in the performance factors. Managers may add a factor at the start of a performance period and employees may suggest factors for their managers to consider adding. Employees are only rated on an optional factor if it was clearly set at the beginning of a performance period. A list of additional competencies can be requested here.
