How does the power output of nPower® WECs compare to windmills?

0

The power output of a single nPower® WEC is 50-100 kW. The windmill outside of the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, OH generates 250 kW of power (other windmills will vary in power output). Although individual nPower® WECs produce less power, they have an advantage over wind power; multiple WECs forming “wave energy farms” produce more power than windmills at a fraction of the cost.
