How does the process work?
• Call local agency • The states, not DOE, keep up-to-date lists of local weatherization agencies. • All weatherization services are provided by local agencies. • Most agencies are nonprofits that employ energy professionals. • Some are branches of local governments. • Come in and apply • Application form usually takes about 20 minutes • You must have proof of income for the year prior to application. (For people on fixed incomes, this is usually easy to do). • The agency also asks a small number of questions about your household, such as, the number of people living in the home. • Your eligibility is determined • If you are eligible, your weatherization agency puts you on a waiting list. • If you rent, you must get permission from your landlord. • People most in need are often moved to the top of the waiting list. • Professional energy consultation • Analysis of your energy bills • Test the infiltration of outside air with a blower door • Inspect equipment for health and safety • List
Choose your new or used equipment from any national or local vendors, negotiate the price. Your LIA Tech account manager will then help you select the best lease option. You approve and sign the lease documents and then the Lessor issues the purchase order. The vendor ships the equipment to you and bills the Lessor. When you tell us that you have received the equipment and sign off on the certificate of delivery, the vendor is paid. 30 days later you begin your lease payments.
3D printing works by converting a 3D digital design into thin cross sections. This information is then sent to the machine where it starts to deposit material layer by layer, thus creating a 3-Dimensional object.
