How does the Ranking system work?
The Ranking system is simple. You win, we add points. You lose, we subtract points. How many points you win or lose depends on the ranking of your opponent. If you are equally ranked and you win, then you gain one point. If you are ranked differently then the number of points you win or lose depends on difference between the rankings of you and your opponent. For example, if you are beginner and your opponent is a professional, you gain 4 points by beating him because he is three levels above you and is considered a much better player. If you lose the game you lose only 1 point because you were defeated by a stronger opponent. The same is true at professional level; if you are professional and you win, you only gain 1 point. However, if you lose the game you lose 4 points because you were defeated by a weaker opponent.
