How does the scrip program work?
The scrip program is a fundraising effort which allows us to buy gift certificates “scrips” from local retailers, at a reduced cost. The savings are then used to credit individual family tuition accounts. For example: If you spend $500 at the grocery store each month, by purchasing Giant Eagle gift cards to use when you shop, in one year you will earn $240 in tuition credit. Now imagine doing this for all of your grocery bills, gas bills, retail shopping, gift card purchases, holiday shopping, and even home improvement costs!
