It doesn’t fit. There is actually consensus amongst the scholars of Islaam that the creed of Imaamah is apostasy. For example, Ayatollah Khomeini stated in his book, Hukumatul-Islamiyyah: “Certainly, the Imam commands a noble station and lofty position; a creative vicegerency to who’s rule and power submit the very atoms of all creation [!] And an essential tenet of our Shi’ite sect is that the Imams have a position which is reached neither by the Angels [in the highest heaven] nor by any commissioned Messenger of God.” “The Islaamic ruling regarding (Ayatollah) Khomeini” http://www.fatwa-online.com/fataawa/cree… The Shee’ah also hold that their Imaams are greater than all Prophets, except for Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. The finality of the Prophethood very well did end with Muhammed (saw) No Jaffery (Twelver) Shia school of thought has ever claimed the Imams are Prophets after Muhammed(saw), I dont care what Shia book anyone brings, if it contradicts with the Quran than the hadith is not to be taken into consideration, period, this is why people get confused about Shias, cause many Sunnis who have full hatred towards Shias wil bring such and such hadith from “Shia books” which ssays something so ridicolous that it cleary contradicts the Quran, and yet they think we believe in, and not only do they think that, they try to shuv it down our throats to force us to believe that so they can have more reasons to “refute” us…..this is why we do not label our books as 100% authenitc or Sahih the concept of Imams are to continue the message of the Prophet (saw) and to lead Muslims to the right path towards paradise this explains it better than i do
