How does the smart strip work?

0

The smart strip is very “smart.” If you plug your computer, or television to the control outlet (blue outlet), and all your peripheral devices (i.e. printer, scanner for computer or DVD player, VCR player) to the controlled outlet (no color), whenever you turn off your computer, or TV, the smart strip will be able to sense the drop in power current, and turn off all your peripheral devices. You don’t have to turn off individual devices yourself. As for the devices that should remain plugged in at all time (i.e. modem for computer, or direct TV satellite), plug them into the red outlet, and they will be always be on, and not be affected by the drop in power current.
