How does the Transportation Subsidy Program work?
If you incur qualifying transportation expenses commuting to and from work, you will be eligible to receive a transit pass (media such as Metrochek, voucher, SmartTrip® download in the Washington Metropolitan Area or monthly/annual pass to cover these expenses. The maximum amount is up to $230.00 per month, and the transit passes are purchased by bureaus and offices using their appropriated funds.
