How does the user control the S100?
The Zyvex S100 nanomanipulation system offers an integrated joystick and keypad to control the system via a computer that generates actuations signals that are transmitted to the S100 positioners. The joystick is used for positioner motion and the buttons are for system control. The user can easily operate the controls while keeping his or her attention on the SEM screen. The keypad and joystick connect to the control cabinet using an industry standard USB plug. This standard plug allows for easy upgrades as needed.
