WLA differs in a number of respects. The law firm itself is a member of most referral network organizations versus individual lawyers in the WLA. Also, the WLA has both experience and Martindale-Hubbell rating requirements to become members. In addition, a goal of the WLA is to provide training and support to members regarding business development. Of course, the WLA is for women only.
