How does Thunderstorm work?
Thunderstorm is a passive spell that attacks on its own. A sorceress casts this spell and as she moves throughout boards, it attacks random monsters on the screen with a thunderbolt “from the heavens.” It is a great spell to have because it attacks by itself and allows you to use other spells at the same time. Do I need Energy Shield? Energy shield is a bit of a tricky situation, especially for a non-lightning sorc. It has quite a few pre-requisites, and if you’re tight on skills and not dying unduly, it can be left out. However, a lot of people swear by it. If you are using the lightning tree, drop a point in it, and let +skill items do the rest, as not too many points are needed for it. A good range to have your energy shield is about 45-50% (skill levels 6 9), as too much energy shield can be a problem. For every point stopped going to life by ES, two points are taken from mana. So if you are doing it tough mana-wise, be extremely cautions about using Energy shield. Dont let energy
