How does Universal Health care work in UK?
It works better than the US system does! First of all, too many people do not know that Obama wants to make insurance more available to all. His system is similar to that which works in Holland and Switzerland. We over here do not understand why you keep the US system. You have insured people going bankrupt due to medical bills that the insurance company gets out of, and those who have medical problems in childhood are cursed in later life with higher premiums. Second, no nation in western Europe which has moved to a universal healthcare system has got rid of it. FACT – the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet. FACT – the US has higher death rates for kids aged under five than western European countries with universal health coverage.
