How does Vibraderm differ from older MicroDermabrasion?

0

In the past, microdremabrasion machines have used particles of aluminum oxide or other crystals to “Sandblast” the skin. These older machines, including the Diamond Tome™ (which is now considered older technology), treat a very small spot size, making it difficult to treat a large area. Both crystal-type machines and Diamond Tome™ are rough and irritating to the skin. Older machines are outdated and have been shown to be dangerous and toxic because of the crystals or contaminants. Aluminum oxide and crystal microdermabrasion machines have been shown to leave residues in the skin causing inflammatory reactions and contact dermatitis and actually worsening the skin condition one is trying to improve. Further, studies have shown aluminum oxide and crystal machines cause respiratory tract problems for both patients and technicians. VIBRADERM USES NO CRYSTALS AND USES NO SUCTION! These older and out-dated machines that use crystals and suction can cause erythema (redness) for a couple days
