How does Village Health Works spend donor money?
VHW prides itself on its great stewardship of every donation. We have done so much in very little time and with few resources. Since opening the doors of our clinic in December 2007, we’ve seen 28,000 individual patients, installed solar electricity and a clean water system for Kigutu and surrounding communities. In terms of facilities, we’ve built a staff and volunteers residence, malnutrition ward and in-patient facility complete with waiting area, lab, and IT room. Current projects under construction include a Community Training Center and Women’s Health Pavilion, which will focus on maternal health.
